Pass first time with the Fast Track School of Driving Accelerated Driving Courses.  They comprise of 60 hours of individual, 1.5 hour, one-to-one driving lessons given by a Grade 6 driving instructor [see Principal grade 6 driving instructor] - either over 6 weeks [2 Driving Lessons per Day on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday + 1.5 hour Driving Lessons on a Saturday or Sunday x 4] or over 8 weeks [1 Driving Lesson per Day Monday to Friday].

Please note this level and duration of training is slightly less than the 67 hours advocated by the Driving Standards Agency [for verification and further information please see www.direct.gov.uk] due to the more intensive training level of the course: Put simply the more intensive the driving course you take the quicker you will learn to drive and understand how to pass the practical driving test [see practical driving test], thereby saving money. For example, the Fast Track School of Driving 6 Week Accelerated Driving Course will save you money on the already highly competitive Standard Driving Courses [see standard, safe driving courses].

However, it is still important to follow a driving course that covers all of the required driving competencies in order to maximise your chance of passing the practical driving test first time [see professional driving school news]. The 47 hours of professional driving instruction plus 20 hours of private driving practice, advocated by the Driving Standards Agency, can only be reduced slightly - even with an Accelerated Driving Course and of course it is safer and more cost effective to have the practice element with a Grade 6 driving instructor [see Principal grade 6 driving instructor].

The practical pass rate statistics illustrate the importance of this as, at the time of publication, they show that the pass rate for the practical car driving test is around 46% (national) and 43% (Ipswich).

Although there are many underlying reasons to explain these statistics, it is clear that if you are a complete novice driver prepared to commit to an Accelerated Driving Course your best chance of passing the practical driving test first time [see practical driving test] is to have a minimum of 60 hours professional driving lessons with a Grade 6 driving instructor [see Principal grade 6 driving instructor].

For parents who wish to take the route of providing supplementary driving practice for their sons / daughters [not for profit], please note that the Fast Track of Driving does offer practical support for appropriately experienced driving parents [see teach your children to be safe drivers].
